Ray was my friend for over 60 years,from college days in Bournemouth with hazardous trips in his 1938 Morris Series E to the Cornish beaches and student stunts.He found his happiness for life with Sandra and in their shared love of sailing and Mark.His captaincy of our narrow boat trips as our own Captain Pugwash was heroic in the face of the crew’s incompetence.He was always fun.I shall miss him hugely.
